KUDOS WHERE THEY ARE DUE
It is with some remorse that I have to admit that Darrell (the beluga or the reneger) has actually had a couple of real sparklers in the last few weeks. I believe that he is due credit for these, as this site is sort of devoted to him.
The first incident took place a couple of weeks ago at a bachelor party planned by the Beluga. When I talked with him at noon that Saturday he was sitting in a kiddie pool filled with ice and "about 150 beers". Evidently he was expecting 4 or 5 other people for this, as well as "Chris the Lawyer". Peculiarly enough, that is who supposedly was the first guest to arrive but he was not able to talk on the phone since he does not actually exist. Anyway, like most bachelor parties, this one ended at a place called The Executive Den, which is one of the greatest strip club names of all time. That Monday I heard from the Beluga that he lost one of his shoes at that particular establishment! Now, I don't care who you are, that is downright hilarious! He told me later that he found the shoe in the bushes at his house, which probably means that he arrived at The Executive Den with one shoe, even funnier! I can just picture him sitting there with one shoe, telling people that he would order them a pina colada, and then not doing it.
